Redbull Ledgend 2020/2021/2022/2023
In the summer of 2020, Studio Tinus got approached by Redbull Austria with the opportunity to create a trophy for the Redbul Ledgend 2020 skate event.
Redbull Austria came back to me for the following years, 2021 and 2022.
The trophy is 3d casted concrete.
The block of concrete resembles a Ledge, a skating object on where the competition took place.
Facet
Time object
The facet time object is one of the older pieces designed and made by Martijn.
The pattern of the facets serve as time indicators as the angles create a shadow on the surface. The angles are designed that the shadows dont interfere with eachother. This effect makes that the object is changing its apearence as the day passes buy.
In 2020 the Facet time object got a make over and is now made out of procelain.

Awards for dancescreen x cinedans Amsterdam 2022
A series of 6 unique awards, designed for 6 individual categories.
Every award resembles 2 dancers interacting with each other, not only by movement but also by expression. When the lights go on on stage, a dancer takes on a different roll, the same counts for these awards. By putting them in the light, they give a different show every time.
VITAL
Light object for Bladesign
During Ventura Future at Milan designweek in 2019, Studio Tinus got in contact with Bladesign. A company which searches for opportunities to re-purpose the blades of windturbines. These wings have to be replaced after 20 years after they are burned, destroying their ecological footprint.
The design lifts up the material properties be polishing it till the moment it transfers light. The fiberglass has a green outlook and gives a nice color when its starts to glow when the lamp is on. By lighting up the blade piece, the internal structure gets visible which gives it an industrial look.
